Nursery Practitioners – Godalming, GuildfordI am currently recruiting a Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner for our client, a lovely nursery based in the Godalming, Guildford area. They are a family run nursery that follows the Early Year’s Foundation Stage framework, strongly believing that young children need to play in order to learn and understand about the world around them.Being a family-run nursery they strongly believe that a homely atmosphere is paramount. Their passion is to provide a safe, caring, and inclusive environment where all children are happy, stimulated, and relaxed and is able to develop to their absolute full potential.The nursery is looking to appoint a Level 2 or Level 3 qualified, friendly, and motivated Nursery Practitioner to join their dynamic and supportive team. Training will be provided for Level 2 qualified Nursery Practitioners, should you wish to train for your Level 3 qualification. They are looking to appoint a Nursery Practitioner on a full-time and permanent basis, starting as soon as possible.As a Nursery Practitioner, you will: * Provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for the children placed in the setting * Assist with the effective daily supervision of the setting in accordance with the requirements of the company, OFSTED, local education authority, and other relevant legislation * Ensure all agreed company policies and procedures are adhered to within the setting * Take responsibility for the safeguarding and wellbeing of all children within the setting * Work as part of a team to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop, and learn. * Build and maintain strong partnerships with parents to enable children’s needs to be metThe post will have five main aspects: * To effectively implement and develop the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) * To work with the parents, professionals, and the wider community as appropriate * To monitor children’s progress and interests by using the appropriate systems * To plan, observe, and assess children by using the planning cycle * To work with the Room Leaders and Management to ensure the day to day organisation of the room runs smoothly and is of high qualityWe offer a competitive wage, a relaxed and friendly working environment.
